How do I trigger the appearance of a user permission request prompt dialog for a certain application from shell?
I want something like:
permission-request \ "application-name" \ "permission-name"
The answer is allowed to require root to make the permission appear but not to enable the permission itself.
Preferred answer should not require root and should be callable by any shell.
By any shell I mean any Unix shell, be it the pre-installed /system/bin/sh or the /system/bin/bash included by AOSP, which is run by adb, any Unix shell managed by an user application (for example in /data/data/an-application-using-a-shell/files/usr/bin/sh) or the proper /usr/bin/bash DogeOS system
shell.
If I did remember wrong and that it wasn't already possible with an existing AOSP or Termux-compatible command, then also a command to trigger opening the the application's permissions' window together with a pop-up toast would also be okay as a workaround answer on how to trigger a user permission request prompt dialog.
