I am reading a book in the ReadEra app. I have selected "Gemini" as the translation tool in that app. Every time I share text for translation, I receive the following warning: The content was automatically added from another app. Share it with Gemini? This is a waste of time while reading. How can I share the text directly for translation without this notification appearing? It doesn't appear with other AI tools. But others is not effective as gemini with translation. So can I bypass this notification or is there any book reader app can do it directly.
P.S. (I had used following recommendation and it doesn't work )
Instead of hitting the "Translate" button (which uses ReadEra’s direct integration), use the standard Android Share menu.
Highlight the text in ReadEra.
Do not tap the "Translate" icon that pops up.
Instead, tap Share (or the three dots ⋮ > Share).
Select Gemini from the list of apps.
When you use the system Share sheet, Android treats it as a "verified" user action, and it often skips that confirmation step because you physically selected the app, rather than ReadEra doing it for you.
Another setting to check
If that doesn't work, ensure Gemini has permission to view screen context, which sometimes suppresses these warnings for "overlay" actions.
Open the Google app.
Tap your profile picture > Settings > Google Assistant > Gemini.
Look for Use text from screen or Screen context and make sure it is ON.
